Commercial Intruder Alarms

Monitored Intruder Alarms are not just for the rich or high value properties but for all premises, both residential and commercial, regardless of size, use or location. A monitored alarm is less expensive today than ten years ago. Whilst most customers acknowledge that a cheap system is false economy - they do want value for money.

The risk of loss through burglary or criminal damage has steadily increased over the years to an extent where today intruder detection systems are a necessary part of life; they protect property possessions and people.

JB-EYE undertakes a complete package. We install and certificate everything. We are accredited and certified; NACOSS GOLD, NICEIC & ISO2000. A large part of our work involves us in upgrading systems installed by other alarm companies. 80% of our installations are installed within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Why have a monitored system?

Security systems are vastly different but can generally be categorised into two types:

  • BELLS ONLY - This type of system when set off activates an audible exterior sounder in an attempt to draw attention from a passer by or neighbour and thus deterring a thief.
  • MONITORED SYSTEM - When activated these systems communicate to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). The ARC will determine the type of signals received and action these appropriately passing intruder signals to your local Police.

Design Criteria: Intruder systems should not be encumbering yet allows a high degree of protection. A survey of the premises includes a risk analysis of your property to determine a suitable level of protection.

Benefits of a Professional Security System

For most businesses security is something that appears to absorb costs and provides no value. This is obviously not the case and there are ways in which electronic security in particular can become an invaluable management tool.

Standardisation is the key to any successful business. With one single point of contact security becomes less of a cost liability and offers more tangible benefits to your organisation. This can be looked at through 2 perspectives:

  1. The advantages that standardisation on a product range will have.
  2. The opportunity to take advantage in advances in security technologies, in particularly facilities such as remote diagnostics, which has a major saving on engineer attendance and there fore costs.

Savings from Standardisation

ARM (Automatic Remote Maintenance) technology means our customers no longer have to wait for an engineer to attend site for alarm related instances.

Our engineers can check your system remotely and usually solve any problems in a fraction of the time traditionally called upon.

JB-EYE have standardised all the equipment we install which has virtually eliminated the associated requirement for constant engineer and staff re-training we pick the right product first time so we are in a position to fully support you.

Our systems provided each user with a unique identity; this allows you to identify who and exactly what each person is permitted to do and when and where they have authority. This principle is of particular use to those with multiple premises.

Offsite Maintenance Technology

Should a security system require problem intervention all the JB-EYE engineer has to do is have the system dial into their network where they can identify a cause, match that to a set of criteria and operating procedures thus resolving the problem.

Increased software capacity will allow JB-EYE to integrate security systems with other parts of a company’s operations, for example fire and CCTV, introduce open and closer routines so that every time any of the branches is opened or closed it will be logged. This will become a useful monitoring tool so that all branches open and close at the correct times all contributing the quality of management.
